is undertaking its own large project, an international gateway sign to
welcome visitors to Little Saigon.
Sister Cities of Long Beach, Inc.
Long Beach first became involved in the Sister City
International Program in 1963, when the city of Long Beach and the city
of Yokkaichi, Japan established a partnership with the signing of
affiliation documents making the two communities sister cities. Today,
Long Beach enjoys eight Sister Cities and one Friendship City
relationship. They provide over 20 annual cultural events in the Long
Beach community, host over 25 international delegations per year and
an Annual International Sister City Festival drawing close to 1000
attendees.
The Arts Council for Long Beach
From established artists to their admirers, the Arts
Council is a one-stop-shop for art resources, events and
